Francis died 6/24/1984 in Brockton, MA, at 45 years of age. His body was interred in West Bridgewater, MA, Pine Hill Cemetery.

He married Jacquelyn McLellan in Whitman, Plymouth Co, MA, 2/23/1963. She is the daughter of Charles (Ted) McLellan and Hazel Irene St. Pierre.

Francis was divorced from Jacquelyn McLellan.
