2. Jacob² Peterson (Sylvanus¹) was born in Pembroke, MA 2/25/1762. Jacob died 11/27/1833 in Pembroke, MA, at 71 years of age.

He married Betsey Turner in Pembroke, MA, 3/2/1785. Betsey was born in Pembroke, MA 2/25/1762/3. She was the daughter of Joshua Turner Jr. and Betty Benker or Buker. Betsey died 11/27/1833 in Pembroke, MA, at 71 years of age.

Jacob Peterson and Betsey Turner had the following child:

3 i. Sophia³ Peterson was born 11/18/1790. Sophia died 6/11/1875 at 84 years of age. She married Benjamin Bearce in Pembroke, MA, 2/11/1811. Benjamin was born in Pembroke, MA 9/16/1787. He was the son of Benajmin Bearce and Lydia Bisbee. Benjamin died 11/15/1863 in Hanson, MA or Pembroke, MA, at 76 years of age. (See Benjamin Bearce for the continuation of this line.)
