5. John² Waterman (Deacon) (Robert¹) was born in Marshfield, MA 4/19/1642. John died 1/16/1749/50 in Halifax, MA, at 106 years of age.

He married Ann Sturtevant in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA, 12/7/1665. Ann was born 6/4/1647. She was the daughter of Samuel Sturtevant and Ann Lee. Ann died 2/9/1719/20 in Plympton, MA, at 71 years of age.

John Waterman (Deacon) and Ann Sturtevant had the following children:

7 i. Elizabeth³ Waterman was born before 1/28/1691, the first event for which there is a recorded date. She married Edmund Tilson 1/28/1691. Edmund was born 1667. He was the son of Ephraim Tilson and Elizabeth Hoskins. He married Deborah Caswell. He married Hannah Orcutt 12/25/1706. He married Hannah Dunbar 11/5/1709. Edmund died after 1754. + 8 ii. Robert Waterman was born before 3/19/1702, the first event for which there is a recorded date.

9 iii. Lydia Waterman was born in Marshfield, MA 5/9/1678. Lydia died 7/25/1757 in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA, at 79 years of age. She married Benoni Shaw in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA, 1697. Benoni was born in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA 1672. He was the son of Jonathan Shaw (Deacon) and Phoebe Watson. Benoni died 5/5/1750/51.

+ 10 iv. John Waterman was born 9/23/1685.
