279. Icabod⁶ Bearse (Ichabod⁵, Thomas⁴, Shubael³, James², Augustine¹, Gauche^A) was born in Pembroke, MA 7/19/1771. Icabod died 2/17/1847 at 75 years of age.

He married Jerusha Doten or Doty 1794. Jerusha was born 12/28/1769. She was the daughter of Elisha Doten and Mercy Harlow. Jerusha died 7/1/1856 at 86 years of age.

Icabod Bearse and Jerusha Doten or Doty had the following children:

415 i. Jerusha⁷ Bearse was born 1795. Jerusha died 1853 in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA. She married Samuel Andrews 5/17/1819.

416 ii. Betsey Bearse was born 12/1796. Betsey died 11/15/1875 in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA, at 79 years of age. She married twice. She married Joshua Besse. She married Joshua Reese 1813.

+ 417 iii. Icabod Bearse was born 8/1/1804.

+ 418 iv. Thomas Bearse was born 3/3/1806.

+ 419 v. Calvin Bearse was born 2/19/1809.

420 vi. Hannah Hedge Bearse was born 1811. Hannah died 11/8/1901 in Lee, NH. She married an unknown person never married.
