He married Lydia Holmes Bennett in Abington, MA, 1844. Lydia was born in Abington, MA 9/8/1825. She was the daughter of George Bennett Jr. and Susanna Stetson. She married Charles Bearse in Abington, MA, 8/10/1844. Lydia died 5/4/1903 in Rockland, MA, at 77 years of age.
