Westchase underwent a name change June, 1999. For those in the Houston area or Texas Annual Conference, we were previously known as Southwest United Methodist Church.

The services are at 10:50 on Sunday mornings.

During the week there are several "Cell Groups" that meet. These are small groups that meet in the homes of various members for a more intimate, intense time of prayer/study/worship. These groups are open to all who would like to attend. They are currently meeting on Monday and Tuesday evenings. call the Church office if you are interested in any of the Cell Groups!

On Wednesday evening, there is a service of songs, prayer, study and Communion. This is held at 6:30 in our Library. Again, all are welcome to attend. Although it is a very informal service, those who attend it with regularity find it to be an important part of our week.

The congregation is multi-ethnic in its makeup, consisting of white, hispanic, black, Pakistani, Indian, South African, and sponsors a group speaking Irdu which meet on Sunday mornings as well as a group speaking Kenyan, also meeting on Sunday mornings.
