Ramadhan Special - Importance of Ramadhan

HOLY SPRING AND THE SEASON OF RAMADHAN!!

The four seasons of the year are wisdom of the Almighty Lord. Spring regarded to be one of the most suitable ones for farming and agriculture which is why the farmers tend to carry out their farming activities in this particular season more than in the rest of the seasons in an effort to achieve better results.

Likewise, to attain spiritual food, there is also an effective season for it that proves to be more fruitful and this is the season of Holy Ramadhan.  This explains why if we have failed to attain the forgiveness of out sins in this month, then we have failed to do so in the rest of the months as well.

Imagine if one carried out his farming activities in a season like autumn when the leaves turn yellow and growth is unproductive, then he would obviously not receive the expected effect.  In the same way if purification of the soul is not done in this month of Mahe Ramadhan, its effect would not serve for the rest of the eleven months.

The spring season is preferred by the farmers so much so that they wish it to remain throughout the year. Let us see what our Holy Prophet has to relate about the spring season of spirituality.

"If at all one was aware of the secrets and beauty behind this month, he would yearn for it to prolong throughout the year."

It is also surprising as to why The Almighty orders us to refrain from food and drink whilst He has invited us in this month.

Eating and drinking serve more for the animals than the humans and thus Allah wants to keep the humans away from this animalistic desire in order to make us closer to Him just as tradition dictates,

Fasting is a means of being far from the state of animalism paving a way for his soul's purification.

THEREFORE COME AND LET US TAKE COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF THIS MONTH AND ATTAIN ITS ABUNDANT HARVEST.

The tradition of the Holy Prophet relates that,

The least obligation of one who makes fast is his refraining from food and drink.

This clearly explains that there is more to fasting than mere refrainment from food and drink and that is the purification of the heart together with all the body parts that should also perform the act of fasting refraining from forbidden acts just as the tradition states,

Silence in fasting is an excellent worship therefore one who does not control his tongue whilst fasting is just as when one stands up for prayer but does not recite 'qiraat' (recitation of sura alhamd ) therefore he shall only get the partial reward of standing up and not for the recitation.

So hurry up and let us make the most of this season by planting spirituality in the earth of out hearts.

Come and let us welcome this month by making the most of the word of wisdom of the almighty in the holy Quran.

Come and let us receive the bounties from the lord's invitation and pave a way for us towards his paradise.

Come and let us whisper secrets with our lord of power and beauty and make sincere supplication so that we can receive his pleasure and utmost graciousness.

Come and let us be amongst those who do not merely say but have manifested knowledge and piety.  Let us make an effort to build a firm resolution to serve for the rest of the year.  Let us try to make our spiritual commitments quickly and sincerely.

Let us break all the chains of anger and desires and attain complete freedom and salvation.

Come let us also make the poor to be happy by inviting them for 'iftar' and joining them in our group in the path of salvation.

So let us make the actual fast which causes satan to be weak and his face blackened!

And come! come and let us break our fast in the presence of our lord of excellence and beauty and receive his infinite grace!!!!!
