It has been narrated from the Holy Prophet SAW
On the night of Qadr the heavenly gates are flung open, hence there is no humble servant (of God) who prays on this night
but that God , the Almighty rewards him
A) For every Sajda, an gigantic tree in Paradise, if a rider were to travel under its shade for a period of hundred years he would not cross its expanse.
B) For every unit of Prayer (rak'aa) a house in paradise of Pearls, Ruby and Emerald.
C) For every verse (of the Quran) a (special) crown from the crowns of paradise.
D) For every tasbih (glorification of the Lord) a bird from the birds of Paradise
E) For every sitting a stage from the stages of paradise.
F) For every Tashahhud a chamber from the chambers of paradise.
G) For every Salaam a jewel from the jewelry of the paradise.
Musa: O my Lord! I seek proximity to you
God: My Proximity is reserved for one who stays awake on the night of Qadr
Musa: O my Lord! I seek your mercy
God: My mercy is for one who is merciful to the poor on the night of Qadr
Musa: O my Lord! I seek ease of passage on the Siraat (bridge over hell fire)
God: That is for one who gives charity on the night of Qadr
Musa: O my Lord! I seek the trees and fruits of paradise
God: That is for one who recites the tasbeeh on the night of Qadr
Musa: O my Lord! I seek your pleasure
God: That is for one who recites two units of prayers on the night of Qadr
Agha Haaj Mirza Maliki Tabrizi encourages the seekers of excellence on the night of Qadr as follows:
''If one of the worldly kings were to invite someone through a very respectable messenger to the palace and were to promise him rich rewards, expensive and expansive estates, delegation of power in the dominion and were to promise him extra
privileges and provisions for the strict observance of protocol in the royal presence,
I'm sure the invitee would almost die out of joy and happiness, and would go to extremes to prepare himself for this August Audience.''
"Yea! O wise one!
The king of the Kings has invited you to His Majestic Presence. The Angels , Prophets and the Last Prophet have been sent to deliver the invitation to you
The holy infallible Imams have reminded you of this invitation He has promised you for the act of worship on one Night (of
Qadr) such an immense reward in Paradise which no wordly eye has ever seen,
no wordly ear has ever heard of, no wordly mind has ever imagined!
Dear brother in faith! you are at a cross-road
if you strive earnestly and sincerely to maximally benefit from this unique once-in-a-year
opportunity, you can change your destiny to salvation; if you fail to avail of the occasion and remain heedless of the momentous chance, you will deserve nothing but damnation
the true magnitude of the loss would dawn upon you on the Day of Exposure of Truth when the losers will moan "Woe be to me for having lost the golden opportunity to serve God"
Hence, before that irreparable loss of face before God,
prepare NOW for the precious moments of the Night when deeds are worth more than a
thousand months:; |
