The Bear Who Wanted Fly
by Jennifer Leo

There once was a bear who wanted to fly
So he jumped off a tree top and into the sky
He stayed for one second and then went down
But soon he realized he was nearing the ground
So he flapped his paws as he saw the birds do
And since the wind helped him, away he flew
But all of the birds laughed and teased him
So he stopped and grabbed onto a tree limb
The tree he held on to swung from side to side
And it crushed the poor bear and that's how he died.

Moral: You convince yourself you can do this
Though you know you cannot
But the best way to keep living
Is to live with what you've got.
