BERNARD F. CUNNINGHAM, m.2 c
Bernard Cunningham, machinist second class, enlisted in the seabees during January, 1943, and is
28 years old. He took his "boot" training in Providence, Rhode Island, and was then sent to Dutch
Harbor, Alaska, where he is still stationed. Prior to his enlistment he was employed by the
Spartan Aircraft company of Tulsa, Okla. In line with the other Cunningham brothers, Bernard
graduated from the Wilson high school and also the Andersen Diesel School of Engineering. He was
married to Blanche Kunkle, also of Wilson, during 1935, and they have one son, Garry, aged 6
months.
