1851 - F.M. Caldwell had 1 horse, 2 cows. and owned 45 acres in the West Part of the NW Corner of Section 5,
            Township 15, Range 28, valued at $185.00.

1852 - F.M. lived at the same place, also Thomas Caldwell and William Caldwell lived close by.

1853 - F. M. lived in the same place, had 2 horses and 2 cattle.

            - James Caldwell owned 80 acres in the East 1/2 of the NW Corner of Section 7, Township 16, Range 28; and
                80acres in the West 1/2 of the NE Comer of Section 7, Township 16, Range 28. He also owned 5 horses, 1 mule,
                and 17 cattle. His property was given a total value of $1,920.00.

1854 - F.M. lived in the same place. William and Thomas lived close by.

            - James Caldwell had 2 slaves, 8 horses, and 19 cattle.

1855 - F. M. still lived in the same place. He now owned 85 acres of land, owned 1 horse and 2 cattle.

            - James, William, and John lived close by.

1856 - F.M. owned 1 horse, 7 cattle

            - James owned 4 slaves valued at $2,200.00, 270 acres of land valued at $810.00, 7 horses valued at $350.00,
                and 19 cattle valued at $133.00.

1859 - There was no F.M.

1861 - James, W.H., John, and Thomas still live in Washington County.

1867 - James now owns 568 acres of land.
