½ c. shortening 		 
¾ c. peanut butter 	    1 ½ cup flour                    
1/3 c. sugar		    1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 c. brown sugar	    ½ teaspoon salt
1 egg						
2 Tablespoons milk 	    Granulated sugar to roll them in.
1 teaspoon vanilla          1   9 oz. Package Hershey’s kisses

Mix all but the flour, baking soda, salt. Combine the rest and mix
into the wet mixture.  Mix well.
Shape dough into 36 -40 one inch balls.
Roll in sugar, place on cookie sheet.
Bake  375 degrees 10 - 12 minutes . 
Unwrap kisses ahead of time. 
Push into center of baked cookie.
Chilling the kiss helps it to keep its shape a little better.
