and Darlington County,
SC. Thomas Kea
married Leonore Johnson in Darlington District, SC in 1811.
Kea
owned land on Sparrow Swamp near Skinner and Mozingo
families. The children of
this union included: Curits
Ivey Kea, Mary Ann Kea, Winniford Kea, Nancy Kea, James
Kea, Kelilah Alexandra Kea, Zachariah R. Kea, Margaret
Ellerbe Kea, and Thomas
Jefferson Kea. These children married into the Skinner,
Mozingo, Hicks, Barnes, Fields,
Alexander, Brown, Evans, and Elliott families and
scattered across South Carolina,
Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and beyond.
Melton is becoming quite proficient at
publishing family histories.
