Pritchardia affinis is native to the island of
Hawai`i. It grows on the leeward side in the Kona district.
It is referred to as Lo`ulu Kiholo
I can't remember where I bought it. I think it was at a
plant sale in Halawa Valley. The plant was tipical gallon
size, about 8-10 inches tall. It has been in the ground on
this terraced hillside for about 3 years. There is no trunk
yet and the tallest fronds are about 8 feet high.
