German Chocolate Chess Bars
 
 
1 German chocolate cake mix (with pudding) 
1 large egg (beaten) 
1/2 cup butter (melted) 
1 cup pecans, chopped
 
Filling:
 
8 oz. cream cheese, softened 
2 eggs 
1 tsp. almond flavoring 
1 lb. box powdered sugar, sifted 
 
 
 
Mix cake mix with egg, butter and pecans.  Pat into the bottom of a bar pan.  Set aside.  Whip cream cheese, eggs, and almond flavoring together.  Gradually add sugar.  Spread over cake mix layer.  Bake in a preheated 350° oven 40 minutes.  Allow to cool before cutting.
