I asked, He heard. Now I must wait,
His decisions are not up for our debate.

Just because I asked and don't see an answer yet,
does not mean He didn't hear or the answer I won't get.

It just means the timing's not just right today,
I know my Father hears and answers every time I pray.

Sometimes the answer is not exactly as I would choose,
but I have faith that with God I just can't loose.

No matter how He chooses to answer my petition,
I know I will be accepting of His volition.

Praise God, His love is stronger than our will,
and though we don't deserve it, He loves us still.

Praise God for His knowledge and desire to share,
praise Him for His plan to bring us there.

Praise God for loving us each and every one,
praise Him for sending forth His precious Son.

Praise God for teaching us about prayer,
and then for promising us He'd always be there.

Praise God we know His answer will be perfect for us,
praise God He provided the ability to trust.
