Blab It and Grab It
by Barbara Philbrook

"Blab it and grab it" is something I heard about last night,
and I've decided it describes me just right.

The term was coined to poke fun at some who truly love God,
to make other's think they are greedy or odd.

But let me give another consideration to you,
just an other's personal view.

God made promises and offered them to you and me,
whether or not we claim them is a personal choice you see.

We can choose to name them or blab,
and then claim them or as some say grab.

Or we can also consciously refuse,
and in so doing a real blessing loose.

A "Blabber and Grabber" is what I choose to be,
to "refuse and loose" holds no appeal to me.

Now you've the facts so what you choose to do,
is a personal decision left up to you.
