Come to Your Father
by Barbara Philbrook

Come to your Father where you can peacefully abide.
Come give Him honor and fill Him with pride.

Come to your Father, He patiently awaits.
He wants to be sure we all pass through His gates.

Come bring your burdens, lay them at His feet.
There is no problem He can't solve or enemy He can't defeat.

Have a need? He is waiting for you to ask.
He can achieve anything, He's up to any task.

Nothing is impossible for our Father to do,
and His greatest desire is to do good things for you.

Is your health less than perfect in some way?
By the stripes of Jesus we are healed is what the Bible has to say.

Do you worry about what to say at any given time?
God gives us the words, He even makes mine rhyme.

Is discernment what you need the very most?
Just ask your Father, He'll provide by way of the Holy Ghost.

Peace that passeth understanding is another gift.
No matter how defeated you feel, it provides a lift.

Love, salvation, wisdom, peace. God provides them all,
and the only thing required of you is a call.

Come to the Father, call out your request.
His promise to you is He will give His very best.

Come to the Father, claim salvation as your own,
and the greatest love ever is what you will be shown.
