Daughter You Make Me Proud
by Barbara Philbrook

Daughter you make me proud,
I want to shout it clear and loud.

To tell the world "look and see,
this is my child born of me".

She's realized where she was doing wrong,
and in her determination she is really strong.

She set a course on which to go,
and it has not been easy for her I know.

She is doing very well I hear,
and it gives me a thrill because she is so dear.

Keep up the good work you are well on your way,
I'll ask God's help as I kneel and pray.

Daughter I've always loved you no matter where you were at,
and I hope if nothing else you've always know that.

To hear you so excited about the achievements you've made,
have lifted my spirits and made my day.

Daughter you make me proud by just being you,
not by your accomplishments and the things you do!
