The Decision
by Barbara Philbrook

The decision as to wether or not you should continue to live or if it is time to die,
these are not your decisions to make and I'll tell you lovingly why!

You did not get any say as to wether or not you should be born into this world as you know,
and until the Lord has finished with you here you are not the one who decides when you should go.

The decision as to when an exit from this world we take,
is not one that either you or I can make.

Our Father the Creator of each and every life,
has promised that he'll not allow more than we can bare whether it be pain or strife.

The Heavenly Father has already made up his master plan,
and we are if we love him are to place ourselves in his loving hand.

Jesus came here and gave his life to save you and me,
and to throw away the life he's saved for you would be a travesty.

Jesus came and suffered on the cross that we might live,
and the right to end that life and the decision when are his to give.

Did you know that you did not even choose to be reborn and love Jesus,
we are told in Rom,8:29  that  "God foreknew and predestined those whom he called to become the image of his Son" that's us.

When you murmur over the terribe pain and talk of ending your life,
I turn cold in fear "Of course I'm your wife."

There have been times I've sat up without any rest worrying over you,
afraid to give in and get any sleep  for fear of what you would do.

But God has not given me a spirit of fear  not even one to worry over you,
so I knelt in prayer and asked him "Lord what am I to do?"

God answered me darling with this message for your heart,
"I my son will call you home when it is the right time for you to depart."

I Love You and God Loves You, He Will See You Through it!!
