During An
Emergency
By Barbara Philbrook
During an
emergency,
there is one place where solace can always be found for
me.
No matter
what is wrong or what I feel,
the peace I get in my Bible is comforting and real.
If you
have trouble getting along with your fellow men,
turn to Romans 12 and you'll have friends again.
If you are
sad and depressed,
Psalms 27 is where you will find peace and be impressed.
If you are
loosing confidence in the people in your life,
1st Cor. 13 will remove all the strife.
If you are
discouraged about your work place,
look in Psalm 126 and you'll have a smile on your face.
When you
are in need of courage for a task,
go to Joshua 1 and you will know what to ask.
When your
prayers seem narrow or selfish to you,
go to Psalm 67 and see if it changes your view.
If you
want to see that you are more fruitful,
read John 15 and your ability to love others will
quadruple.
When you
feel there is danger threatening you,
Psalm 91 is where I think you should view.
When you
need assurance God is still in charge,
Psalm 90 will show you that the world is not so large.
When
leaving home for labor or travel,
read Psalm 121 before your feet even hit the gravel.
If people
seem to be unkind,
go to John 15 and receive peace of mind.
If you are
exhausted and in need of rest,
Go to Matthew 11:25-30 and start feeling your best.
When your
faith needs stirring go to Hebrew 11,
it's faith building facts directly from Heaven.
Are you
burdened because of committed sin,
go to Psalm 51 and feel clean again.
Need a
clearer definition of Christianity,
go to 1st Corinthians 5:15-19 and ask that God open your
eyes so you may see.
God's love
is so perfect and complete,
He provided this book of answers where each of our needs
He'd meet.
During an
emergency there is only one who has each answer we need,
open your Bible He has placed them all there for us to
read.
