Ecclesiastes is the book to tell us how to live a productive life,
despite this world's trials and strife.

God gave us much to think about,
and the information and intelligence to work it all out.

Every perspective has been given thought,
and if we read this book prayerfully we'll do as we ought.

We won't strive for things of this Earth,
because we'll recognize only things of God have  worth.

We won't try to expand our knowledge alone,
we'll follow the way the Holy Spirit has shown.

We'll strive to serve our Heavenly Father,
knowing without His guidance our lives would be harder.

We'll make God's will our every endeavor,
because to ignore His desires means our bond we sever.

We'll strive to acquire souls for God on this Earth,
because nothing else gives our life any worth.

We'll not live for physical delights alone,
but to share the wonderful truths which we've been shown.

We'll recognize we can never reach perfection,
but that our daily aim should be complete subjection.

Giving up of ourselves to God will and desire,
being His willing servant to what we each aspire.

Read Ecclesiastes with a prayerful, willing heart,
