God is faithful you can count on Him all of the time,
it's shown to us in 1st Corinthians Ch. one verse nine.

It is the Father who first beckoned us to Him,
so our total dependence on Him could begin.

He gave us promises in His Holy Word,
that He knows our needs before they've occurred.

Promises that He'll fulfill our every need,
to comfort or heal us without our having to beg or plead.

The prayers we offer and the requests we make,
are not for His knowledge but for our own sake.

As we speak each and every need with our tongue,
our need and our awareness are forged into one.

We realize to a deeper degree,
that God is the source of everything needed by you and me.

As our awareness and our convictions expand,
we willingly place ourselves in the Master's hand.

God is faithful and overflowing with care,
as He awaits our coming before Him with everything in prayer.
