Feelings Or Faith
by Barbara Philbrook

If I were blind and totally unable to see,
feelings would be oh so very important to me.

God in His great love for man,
provided for six senses in his great Master Plan.

Each of these senses has it's place you see,
in making our lives run more efficiently.

When loosing one of our senses, such as a person's sight,
awareness of our other senses rise to help our plight.

Then feelings to a man would be of great import,
they then become His eyes of sort.

But to those of us who have eyes that see,
Faith must be what we rely on for stability.

Faith is a gift God has given for us to rely upon,
it's believing in what our eyes can not gaze on.

Knowing within our heart because we read it in the Word,
we can count it as though it's already occurred.

Knowing that we know that because of God being our Father,
certainly helps us all to believe even harder.

Feelings can lift you up or even drag you down,
but Faith will keep you planted on solid ground.

Faith, not feeling, is the way for men of sight,
if you keep this in mind you will be all right.
