Fellowship With A Friend
by Barbara Philbrook

Fellowship with a friend means so much to me,
I consider friendship a reminder of God's love you see.

Time spent with a friend is rich and fulfilling,
it even can be adventurous and thrilling.

Depending on what you and your friend like,
you could either walk, run or ride a bike.

Some folks like to sit and talk and share their thoughts,
while young mothers together may compare their tots.

There is such a variety of things to do,
the choice is between your friend and you.

The important thing is the sharing that comes about,
even if at a sports event where you have to shout.

My personal thought is that God sends friends our way,
knowing we'll be together for eternity some day.

Getting acquainted and starting to know one another,
once we're in heaven they'll be my sister or brother.

Enjoy your friends making memories that will last,
you'll have more to praise God for when this life has past.

Once in heaven strolling on the streets of gold,
you'll both share your memories from times of old.
