God Can Use Even Me
by Barbara Philbrook

Martha was a worrier, fretting her life away,
while Hosea's wife was a prostitute earning pay.

Moses' speech was defective while John The Baptist was a loud mouth,
David was just a lad but at least didn't doubt.

Paul, David and Moses all murdered others,
and John felt self righteousness over his Christian brothers.

Jeremiah gave thought to how he could help himself die,
while Jacob was not beyond telling a lie.

Abraham and Sarah were up in age but given a child anyway,
Miriam had a problem, she had far too much to say.

Noah got drunk, Elijah was burned out,
and Gidion and Thomas were both plagued with doubt.

All were imperfect as we can plainly see,
but proof dear friend that if I submit, God can use even me.
