God listens both day and night,
because hearing our prayers to Him brings such delight.

He waits to hear what is on your mind,
if more knowledge of Him something He can help you find.

If you are offering heartfelt thanks for your blessings,
or if it is new needs you are addressing.

If there's a healing that you seek,
or if you need strength where you feel weak.

He wonders which of His creations most please you,
or if changes are sought for what you must do.

It matters if you are content with your life,
or whether you feel overcome with trials and strife.

God listens and desires to hear,
because He holds each and everyone of us most dear.

If you need faith to believe what I say is true,
just ask Him, He's the one who provides that too.

If you think He's not hearing what you have to say,
ask Him to show  you, He will in some way.

God is your Heavenly Father you see,
and He loves you absolutely unconditionally.

Nothing you can do or say can make Him love you more,
so say a prayer and invite Him in your heart's door.

Nothing you say or do can make Him love you less,
but talking to Him daily brings such happiness.

Say that first prayer it's something you'll never regret.
I've never met anyone who says different yet.

God listens and He's listening right now for you,
won't you talk to Him now so you'll know it's true.
