God's gift of prayer, have you used it today?
Have you sought His presence as you knelt to pray?

Have you sought God's guidance in each aspect of your life?
In your needs, your hopes and strife's?

Have you praised Him for each act of kindness and love?
Have you sent heart felt thanks above?

Have you told Him of your need for more faith when in doubt?
Have you asked Him to help you figure it out?

God's gift of prayer is for us to converse.
To not use it daily makes life seem so much worse.

God has provided this ample opportunity,
whereby He is always available to you and to me.

God's gift of prayer is the open door to His throne,
assuring us we are never ever alone.

Talk to your Father, He is waiting so near,
I guarantee you He is listening to hear.

Listening and anxious to provide your every need,
once you ask your blessings can proceed.

God's gift of prayer is for all who will use it.
Have no fear, it's impossible to abuse it.
