God's Love
by Barbara Philbrook

God so loveth the world that he gave his only begotten son,
anyone believing on him a new life has begun.

Now we can't go by what we feel or what appears to be,
we must take God at his word and use whatever faith he's given to us for free.

There are those who are changed in the blink of an eye,
others won't see or feel the change till much time has gone by.

God is our creator and he knows us from within,
therefore he knows where and when these changes should begin.

The most important thing we can do is surrender to him our all,
whatever we are whatever we can be let God make that call.

Look into your Bible seeking to learn his holy word,
then when he speaks you'll be sure it's his voice that you've heard.

Jesus didn't come and die for special people upon this earth,
no in God's eye we are of the same value and worth.

When anyone hears the story of salvation and believes,
then the guilt of their sinful life Jesus relieves.

Jesus stands at your heart knocking on its door,
won't you let him into your  heart and live happily evermore.

Now a life in Jesus is not free of trials or pain,
but he promises that where ever the tracks of our life go he'll engineer the train.

Jesus is preparing  a precious new world in which we'll all live,
but before he can come for us we have this message to give.

The word has to be spread to each and everyone,
once we've accomplished that he'll say "It is done!".

Can you imagine living a life free of sickness or pain,
to never feel hopeless, useless, or loveless ever again?

Can you picture a world without any hunger or strife,
never again the need to suffer the end of a loved one's life?

Never again in lonlinesss or sadness to shed a single tear,
only happiness, joy and love forever to share.

In my minds eye the picture is comforting and such a treat,
as we all sit together listening at Jesus feet.

We can listen and learn for an eternity,
as our  loving savior explains how much God loves you and me.

Not to be worthy of so much as a deep disappointed sigh,
yet to be loved so much that for us he was willing to let his son die!!!
