Grant me the strength Lord is my plea,
that I may be of use to Thee.

Give me ambition and lots of zeal,
that what others see may to them appeal.

Fill me with your love that it will overflow,
that those who I meet will be attracted to Your glow.

Place in my mouth the words You desire me to speak,
give me the knowledge to share with those who seek.

Open the way You wish for me to go,
speak to me and show me what I need to know.

Make reaching others be that for which I strive,
I desire to serve You each day that I am alive.

May all thoughts of personal gain,
be something from which I constantly refrain.

May desires of wealth or personal luxury,
be completely foreign Lord to me.

May the strength and grace You've bestowed on me,
be ever present for others to see.

Thank You Father for allowing me to serve,
it is so much more that I deserve.
