Heavenly Father help me please,
teach me to come to Thee for all of my needs.

Teach me that what others do or say,
can not effect me in any way.

Help me not to hurt by words or actions,
please control all of my reactions.

Ease the pain tearing me apart,
give me peace within my heart.

Don't let the aching overtake me,
help me to remember to lean on Thee.

Dry my tears, give me the strength I need,
help me Father to gallantly proceed.

Close my ears to the mean words said,
help not to repeat them over in my head.

Help me please to be what You want me to be,
that I may bring honor and glory Lord to Thee.
