"If two agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask,
it shall be given of our Heavenly Father" Jesus promised in the past.

Look in Matthew eighteen verse nineteen,
and you will see exactly what I mean.

Jesus said it so we know it is true,
Jesus told us this is what God Himself would do.

Now the only other ingredient that I see,
is the faith to believe present in you and me.

Faith is provided from God out of love,
so if you need more just ask, it will be sent from above.

I have read in the Bible "you have not because you ask not",
so this lesson I am willing to be taught.

Ask and believe and you will receive is new to me,
but I am willing to give it a try and see.

Father I want to do my very best to serve You,
I want to experience all that You want me to.

I am willing to learn all that You are willing to teach,
and to bring help or comfort to all I can reach.

Teach me what to ask and what to expect,
but also may I always hold You in awe and respect.

Don't let me be effected by lasciviousness or greed,
please help me to limit my desires to my need.

Teach me what is needed that I may be of help to my fellow man,
then send me out to do all that I can.
