I am innocent, I have been set free,
because Jesus came and died for me.

He lived a sinless, guilt free life,
so that I can now face eternity free of strife.

I needn't worry what will be,
because Jesus has already won the victory.

I live now desiring only to serve,
because I won't die like I deserve.

What I earned I shall no longer receive,
because He died and I believed.

I am innocent because of another,
and now He's become my adopted brother.

His inheritance will now be shared with me,
because of love beyond our capacity.

I am innocent and you can be too,
Jesus offers the very same forgiveness to you.

Call on Him and accept His grace,
and one day soon we'll see Him face to face.

None who call will be turned away,
your forgiveness is given that very day.

as soon as you accept what's being offered to you.
