I Refuse
by Barbara Philbrook

I refuse to surrender to worry and fear,
I instead remind myself that God is near.

I will not buckle to pain and sorrow,
I choose to look ahead for the brighter tomorrow.

I feel no fright for what lies ahead,
Jesus died to remove all sense of dread.

I need not be anxious for clothes or food to eat,
God promises each of these needs He'd meet.

I am not alone as I face this world to it's end,
God in His love for me gave me you as a friend.

I can seek agreement with others in Prayer,
and God so lovingly meets with us there.

Yes I refuse to let Satan get under my skin,
God gave me the Victory the day I invited Him in.

You too can have this precious sense of victory,
when you accept Jesus it's absolutely free.
