I Refuse To Doubt
by Barbara Philbrook

I refuse to doubt the plight of those who've passed on,
instead it's your grace and love I'll dwell upon.

I know it is not Your will that even one be lost,
I know you offer salvation at a very high cost.

I know that there is no greater love known,
then that precious love we've all been shown.

I know much can occur in the twinkling of an eye,
some can be saved the second before they die.

I refuse to doubt that all I love will be present with You,
because I know You did all You could do.

I  trust in the last second they heard Your voice,
and had the knowledge to make the right choice.

Yes I trust in You and I absolutely refuse to doubt,
that any of my loved ones will be left out.

They will have called out when they knew death was near,
You brought them home and wiped their tears.

Embracing each one so glad they finally chose You,
as You desire each and every one of us to do.

I refuse to doubt that it could have happened just this way,
and that we'll all walk together one day.
