Let's Shout It Out
by Barbara Philbrook

A miracle has happened let's proclaim it loud and long,
why lets get together and sing it as a song.

We'll sing it on the hilltops for all the world to hear,
a miracle has happened for a man who's death was near.

The doctors told his wife it's time to let us pull the cord,
in sadness and devistation she leaned upon the Lord.

She called her friend, will you deliver the eoulogy,
sadened too she looked for solice in Christian poetry.

Finding verses she believed would relieve the pain,
and cause any unsaved to think about calling on Jesus' name.

Confident and grateful for the comfort and peace she found,
she rested calmly waking to the most delightful sound.

Her friend had gone to the hospital to proceed with the solomn task,
please come with me for one moment the nurse stopped her to ask.

The doctor wishes a moment to speak with you,
you won't believe it but this news is true.

Your husband has recovered, he is wide awake they said,
and when she saw him he was concious on his bed.

It's a miracle I tell you! He was brought back just in time,
we serve a God who is so good and kind.

No need of a euology, no it's a testimony instead,
the story of the man who was so close to being dead.

Let's shout it out to give others hope in times so sad and dire,
this is the same God who brought Shadrach and his friends from the fire.

Tell it on the streets and in the greatest halls,
running in the parks and walking through the malls.

Let's shout it out for all the world to hear,
our God is all powerful and very very near.
