Let Us
Pray
by
Barbara Philbrook
Have you
learned how important it is to talk to God each and every
day?
Have you discovered that by talking things over with Him
life seems easier in some way.
Those
matters that frighten us and can cause so much stress,
would not seem so bad if we knelt to our father in stead
of giving in to the duress.
Things
that upset you get you all perplexed and turn your
face red,
would go by more smoothly and calmly if you took
them to God instead.
We may not
need to have medicine to keep our blood pressure
suppressed,
if we kept in touch with our father and remembered in
what ways we are so blessed.
Our Father
wants to hear from us each and every day,
we have been given this wonderful gift it is the ability
to pray.
We can go
to God and thank Him for all of the things in our lives
that are fine and good,
we can go to Him and ask His guidance as His Bible tells
us we should.
We can
share our happiness and joys we have in our life,
we can unload all of our burdens our worries and strife.
We can
seek advise about anything on which we must make a
decision,
we can ask which way we should lean when we feel our
lives are about to face a division.
All of
these things can be handled in the very same way,
let us get on our knees and let us pray.
