Life everlasting is a gift that's free,
one offered to each of us, you and me.

A gift given to those who believe in God's only Son,
it is given to all who accept it, each and everyone.

We learn of the truth spoken of in God's Holy Word,
then we accept the offer of Salvation which we heard.

We then confess we are sinners deserving of our plight,
ask for forgiveness and that we be made right.

Then we invite Jesus to dwell in our heart,
and seek guidance so from our sinful ways we'll depart.

The Holy Spirit starts leading us that very day,
our part is to totally surrender our will as we pray.

Surrendering daily our sinful selves to do His will,
since we remain in our human forms still.

The changes being worked at God's own pace,
others seeing His love reflected on our face.

Seeking no longer what we once sought with great zest,
desiring instead to give Him our best.

Offering to others the new joy we have found,
in knowing we one day will be Heavenbound.

Life everlasting is what we look forward to,
we hope we'll be spending eternity with you.
