Lonely Tears
by Barbara Philbrook

Lonely tears are shed by all eventually,
but loneliness can be a blessing too you see.

Think of your loneliness as a rekindling time,
when you are reminded how much God's love is thine.

Think of it as a time to get to know Him better,
so when trials come you won't be a fretter.

Think of it as a wisdom building exercise,
one where you are the person who becomes so wise.

Think of it as a bonding experience between God and you,
one by which you learn to adopt His view.

Think of it in positive and productive ways,
whereby you will be assured of God's love throughout your days.

Don't let loneliness be a negative curse,
use it for your growth not to make you worse.

Satan would like you to cry this time away,
but instead use it to improve yourself as you pray.

Lonely tears will never again bother you,
since this will be an improvement time in your view.
