The More I Learn
by Barbara Philbrook

The more I learn, the more I grow,
the more I know that I know what I know.

The closer my walk with the Father gets,
the less I give in to frivolous frets.

The more He uses me the more I learn,
the more I listen the more I can discern.

The more my eyes are opened the more I now see,
there was never any good thing in me.

The more I surrender my life to God,
the more I appreciate where my feet have trod.

The more hurt I survive the greater the bliss,
then how much more I value all of this.

The more I learn day by day,
the more I yearn to do it His way.
