I Am Not Alone
by Barbara Philbrook

I am not alone as I used to fear.
God loves me and holds me very dear.

He beckoned me till I searched in His Word,
and learned of the love about which I had heard.

A love so deep He sent His Son to die.
A love on which I can forever rely.

As undeserving and as sinful as I happen to be,
God still reached out and beckoned me.

Taught me that He accepted me just as I was that day,
and wanted me to accept His love as I knelt to pray.

Gave me discernment so that I'd recognize truth,
finding what I'd been seeking since early youth.

Opened my eyes so that I could see,
that He wanted me home with Him for eternity.

Told me of the Comforter who would forever abide,
within my heart once I allowed Him inside.

Gave me the courage to share this truth with you,
so that you could make the same choice too.

I am not alone and neither will you be.
Accept salvation and come home for eternity.
