Life is not always easy nor did our Lord say it would be,
the only assurance we have is that He loves you and me.

We are told that our Father knows our every ache and fear,
and that when we need his strength it will be there.

There is nothing we will face that Jesus hasn't faced too,
and we can rest assured God's love will see us through.

I have read in God's word that life as we know it is brief,
and I for one can tell you this brings me great relief.

There are many mountains to climb in this journey we are on,
and when it gets too tough Jesus is there to lean upon.

And when at last we have reached this mountain's crest,
we can claim victory and take a much needed rest.

Then on with our journey we must continue until God calls us home,
by keeping our eyes on Jesus never off the track will we roam.

No life is not easy but I wouldn't change it if I could,
for I am living proof that God can take the bad in life and turn it into good.

So life send my way anything that you care to,
because it thrills my heart  when my Lord shows me just what He can do.

just call on Jesus' name he's promised  he'll be there.
