I Will Not Fear
by Barbara Philbrook

No matter what appears to be I will not fear,
for God has provided the strength and faith before this trial was here.

I may not be in favor of what is going on right now,
but God is in control and will make it right some how.

If Satan could have his way we'd collapse in fear and fall away,
but the joke's on him for instead I fell to my knees to pray.

Now I cannot tell you how this will all turn out,
but God can turn anything to good of this I have no doubt.

Instead of loosing faith as Satan intended for me to,
my faith has sustained me as God said it would do.

Instead of causing me to doubt and tremble in fear,
this has reminded me that God is and will always be near.

Instead of causing weakness as Satan wanted all along,
my loving God uses these trials to build character and make us strong.

So if you have any doubt of how we will handle trials that come our way,
just watch us all and you'll see us kneel to pray.

Things may look dim and the future not very bright,
but you see God has promised that in the end everything will be all right.

And though I cannot  know the end from the beginning,
God can and in the end it will be Satan who pays for his sinning.

Therefore to God goes the praise and the Glory,
even though we know not the outcome of this story.
