Other's
Problems
by
Barbara Philbrook
Other's
problems come up and I like to help them you see,
but whether or not I should is not always clear to me.
Sometimes
others have problems of which I should stay clear,
even if the person is close and very very dear.
Then there
are times in which I should be willing to contribute,
of this there is no obvious objection or dispute.
I want to
be a friend who fulfills another's need,
being there without having to hear them beg or plead.
Yet I
don't to want intercede if it is wrong to do,
Heavenly Father I need guidance from you.
Teach me
Father when to intervene,
and when by staying away I'm not being mean.
Help me to
know when I'm just caring,
or when I've crossed the line and started interfering.
May I
remember that You are the guiding light to all,
I am just a friend on whom they may call.
