I was so untrusting when I found out salvation was free,
if it had all been revealed, I'd have run from Thee.

You knew my heart and my inner fears,
You let me see just enough through my grateful tears.

I felt such joy of being saved from my sin,
a journey of sharing I did begin.

It's been such great pleasure my serving You,
telling others what You are willing to do.

Now a new phase of our journey has begun,
You've revealed to me there's more unwrapping to be done.

The gift of salvation is more than just receiving eternal life,
it's more than having inner peace during strife.

The gift of salvation is a packaged deal,
the contents of which You've only begun to reveal.
