In the Palm of His Hand
by Barbara Philbrook

Life does not always seem to be enjoyable nor did God promise us that it would,
life has times when it is difficult and times when it is good.

Life has the hills and valleys that we all must go through,
and if you accept Jesus as your Savior He will walk right beside you.

There are instances when we may end up in tears,
there are times also when we will be over burdened by fears.

None of these are things through which we must struggle alone,
Jesus sends our constant companion when we accept Him and our sins atone.

There will never be a time when there is nothing in life that can disturb you,
but by living in God's will the Holy Spirit will be right there too.

The Holy Spirit is your teacher your comforter and your guide,
and we are told that once we accept salvation He moves within to permanently abide.

It helps to remember that there is nothing that can  happen or come our way,
that Jesus himself didn't have a similar experience through which He too had to pray.

God promises us that nothing will happen with which we can not contend,
nothing can occur which God can't make work for our good in the end.

Just try to keep it all in the correct perspective,
the Holy Spirit and God's Angels are all very protective.

Remember God is the Creator and in charge of the Master Plan,
and we are all ultimately held in the palm of His hand.
