Being Patient Till Jesus Comes
by Barbara Philbrook

Being patient till Jesus comes is difficult for some,
but it gives us a chance to reach everyone.

Oh I want to go home and live free of pain,
and to see my long missed loved ones again.

I want to walk on the streets of gold,
and hear the tales the great ones will unfold.

I want to know the answers to life's mysteries,
and I want to know if my life my Savior did please.

But my heart aches that not all have made the choice.
I want to reach them with my voice.

I want them to hear there's a decision to be made,
and let them know of the price Jesus paid.

I want to share with them the love I now feel,
and to assure them that God's love is very real.

I want them to see what I can now see,
and to know themselves that Heaven is a reality.

I want to extend my own personal invitation,
and tell them the danger of too much hesitation.

I want them to know my heart aches at the thought,
that I might be there but they might not.

I want them to enjoy salvation for eternity,
and to stand before Jesus with you and me.

Being patient till Jesus brings us all home,
may mean we have a few more to whom the truth was shown.
