Priviledge of the First Born Son
by Barbara Philbrook

Abba Father the salutation reserved for a First Born Son,
but due to our inheritance we too will use this one.

Not to be taken lightly it is an honor for sure,
an tribute bestowed by our Father whom we adore.

The first born Son always held in high esteem,
recipient of privileges no other could glean.

But by virtue of our inheritance we each shall become,
as one with Jesus God's own precious Son.

Not one of us deserving of such proclaim,
but each are to be recipients by virtue of Jesus' name.

We can not phantom what joy lies in wait,
for when we all finally arrive at Heaven's Gate.

Our mind can not imagine nor can our brains conceive,
what is in store for those who choose to believe.

All offered to us freely due to unconditional love,
from a Father who watches continually from above.

Abba Father will be uttered by each of us so lovingly,
as we pay homage to our Father throughout eternity.
