The Purpose of My Life
by Barbara Philbrook

The purpose of my life is sometimes a mystery to me,
Lord I wish I knew what You have as my destiny.

Am I to be a traveler going far and wide,
sharing with the world where You desire to abide?

Am I to stay right here and teach those unaware,
how much You love them how much You care?

Am I to be a healer touching the afflicted,
to release them from the bonds by which they've been restricted?

Am I to be a prophet giving information sent by You,
Father I have no idea what it is I'm to do?

Will I get married and raise a family,
or am I meant to serve in solitude and do all I can for Thee?

I am Yours Lord I have dedicated my all,
and I intend to serve Thee in any way at all.

Seek to find is what You say in the word,
I've asked You before but still I haven't heard.

I wait on Your answer willing to do all I can,
to share with the world Your Precious Salvation Plan.
