Rank
by Barbara Philbrook

None of us are aware of the rank of the job God desires from each of us,
we are all expected to contribute to the duties here without making any fuss.

Some of us have jobs that carry a great title that we must wear,
others of us have jobs that will not be noticed while we are here.

The appearance of significance is not what should matter to me or you,
the important thing is that we render the very best at whatever we are to do.

There was the widow that we read about in the Holy Word,
she had no idea how important she was but everyone who's ever read the Bible knows what occurred.

There was the lad who slew the giant with a stone in his sling,
and now children all over the world his story can sing.

A coat was made up of many colors for Joseph a gift meant to show the dept of his father's great love, God interpreted a dream so he'd be taken from the prison to a position high above.

Whoever thought that a colorful coat or the deciphering of someone else's dream,
could be of such magnitude who could have forseen.

The issue that we must realize and must never let be pushed out of our sight,
is that no matter what God requires of us we must strive to do it right.

God is the expert and He is the creator of the Master Plan,
and He knows what we are capable of He knows each of us woman, child, or man.

Trust in our Heavenly Father as you have never trusted another,
after all He sent Jesus to die for us and by believing this we become His brother.

It is not ours to question the directions of our Heavenly Father,
it is ours only to do our best and if that is not enough try even harder.
